DESCRIPTION

The Youth Awards Committee administers the following Programs: Student of the Year (Male & Female) Accepting the Challenge for Excellence (A.C.E.) Award Americanism Speech Contest

Americanism/Veterans

Shepherd, Miranda

These members plan to "Give a Kid a Flag to Wave" Veterans Parade, Proudly We Hail, Valentines for Veterans Project, and our Baby Diaper Drive in Baby Safety Month.

Awards

Klippel, Doug

These members plan for the Book of Golden Deeds, Freedom Shrine, Club awards, Nominations for Board Members, and reporting of completed projects to National/District.

Field of Honor Committee

Ledbetter, David

This committee works to establish a Field Of Honor to honor fallen Jacksonville military members.

Finance / Fundraising Committee

Bavington, Julie

Collecting of payments at meetings and events, overseeing club financials, planning events such as Car Show, Orleck Field of Honor, Professional Directory, and other fundraising projects and events.

Meeting Management Committee

Clift, Tom

Organizes the Meeting, Speakers, Greeters, trivia, and other meeting assignments as well as One Nation under God, Law/ FHP, Firefighter of the year, field trips.

Membership Involvement

Helps with recruiting of new members, planning new member orientation, community engagement/service, record member involvement, sunshine, socials, communication/social media/website, and public relations.

Helps plan special events that are needed when they occur.
